Every first weekend of June, the Médoc seaside resort swaps its jeans and bicycles for corsets, straw hats, vintage cars, and shadow puppets. Soulac 1900 returns all weekend for a delightful dive into the heart of the Belle Époque, featuring steam trains, street performances, free concerts, and a festive atmosphere.

A Journey Through Time… in Costume
The magic begins as soon as you arrive: carriages stroll through the streets, marching bands bring the squares to life, while visitors – often in costume – embrace the vibes of a carefree era. Feather boas, lace, parasols, and three-piece suits transport Soulac into a postcard-perfect setting.

Three days of celebration with concerts, circus, and vintage market
On the agenda: over 200 musicians and 70 street performers, roaming musical machines, circus acts, a vintage market with its old-fashioned rides, retro treats, and period items, as well as exhibitions, lectures, and dance performances at the 1900 Museum (Cinéma Océanic).
What are the highlights of the festival? Music lovers will enjoy the inaugural concert by Core Corsu at the basilica on Friday, June 6, at 9 PM, and the big dance night with Gibann & Mathilde on Saturday, June 7, at 9 PM.
