A huge festival dedicated to Korean culture is coming to Bordeaux this weekend!

Organized by Kaja Korea, a structure specialized in the promotion of Korean culture in France, this new event aims to bring together enthusiasts and the curious for an immersive weekend filled with shows, conferences, workshops, and meetings.


A festival blending traditions and pop culture

For two days, from 9 AM to 6 PM, Hangar 14 will come alive with the beat of K-Pop performances, traditional dances, martial arts demonstrations, and musical showcases. On stage, the audience will have the chance to discover invited artists and groups, along with conferences focusing on K-dramas, Korean lifestyle, and the latest trends in pop culture led by renowned speakers.

Associations, fan clubs, and exhibitors will also be present. Notable attendees include illustrator Moon Bun, Korean skincare expert Mooa and the Hapkidoshop store. Author, singer, dancer, and influencer signings will complete the exciting lineup.

Workshops, gastronomy, and immersive experiences

The festival is all about interaction. Visitors can join in on calligraphy workshops., discover the secrets of K-Beauty, get introduced to traditional games, or even taste K-Food. Handicrafts, artistic creations, and culinary demonstrations will let you explore Korean culture in all its forms.

A program designed for a broad audience, from food enthusiasts to martial arts lovers, including those who want to learn the language or better understand cultural phenomena from Seoul.

An event after party Saturday night

The highlight of the weekend: a after party organized on Saturday, February 21 from 7:30 PM to 11 PM. Three concerts are scheduled, featuring the Bordeaux band K-Meo, Seoul rapper Young Ill, and singer Shaun, known for the international hit Way Back Home. The full-price entry for this evening is set at €65.
