The event is rooted in a strong local history, carried for decades by associations dedicated to sharing Vietnamese culture in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Organized alongside the Vovinam Foundation Festival, a martial art founded in 1938 and now widely practiced in France, Vietnamia shines a light on a booming discipline with over 20 clubs in the region.
