Chinese New Year in Bordeaux: A colorful 10th edition

Join us on Sunday, February 11th starting at 2pm, on the famous turtle square, to experience the next edition of Chinese New Year in Bordeaux. This edition is special, marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and China. For the occasion, a variety of dances, parades, entertainment, and legendary animal shows are expected. Brace yourselves Bordelais... This year, the grand celebration will be centered around the dragon!

On the planning side, the parade is scheduled to depart at 2:30 PM from Place de la Victoire, followed by a parade through the city center, particularly on rue Sainte-Catherine, with interactive activities for the public at Place Saint-Projet, Place de la Comédie, and Cours de l'Intendance. At 4:30 PM, Place Gambetta will come alive with the Lion and Dragon Dance.

An enchanting, festive, and vibrant show that showcases cultural diversity and Franco-Chinese friendship.
