Running, dancing, sweating, and partying all in one place: that’s the bet of the BPM Race Festival. Designed as a total experience, this new Bordeaux event combines indoor fitness runs, immersive scenography, and a huge electro festival at an iconic location: the Bordeaux Mériadeck ice rink.

On Saturday, June 20th, from 7 AM until 2 AM, the event will offer 18 hours of non-stop music, 2 stages, a well-being experience village, and a big sports competition for teams of two.

An Explosive Fitness Race

At the heart of the festival is the BPM Race: a hybrid race designed for all levels, with 1,400 spots available. The idea is to complete 9 functional exercises in pairs, interspersed with 800 meters of running between each challenge. All of this unfolds in an atmosphere worthy of an immersive show, complete with light displays, DJ sets, and an audience up close to the action.

A format like this that brings together the worlds of sports and music doesn't exist yet; it's a major first,” shares Jason Delalaire, the project's founder. The main stage will take the form of a huge 360° Boiler Room, set up at the center of the arena, right at the level of the hockey players' kick-off.

30 DJ

to return to the Bordeaux arena

On the music side, the BPM Race Festival is going big with 25 to 30 artists expected on the decks across 2 stages. Among the first names announced are: Djudah, son of Gad Elmaleh, Noy, brother of Kev Adams, cellist Logan à la Mélodie, Attalin, and the English DJ Miishu, who has already mixed alongside Francis Mercier.

House, afro house, melodic techno, hard techno, latin house, and tech house: the lineup promises to be eclectic to get the crowd buzzing from morning until the end of the night.

Sports classes and wellness workshops offered

Beyond sports and music, the festival will also feature a fully accessible experience village included with your entry ticket. Expect RPM classes, yoga, reformer pilates, self-defense, cold baths, pressotherapy, workshops focusing on women's health, as well as chill-out spaces and dining options to make your day beautifully vibrant.

The idea is to transport people to another universe,” explains Jason.

A 100% Bordeaux project

While the BPM Race Festival already has national ambitions, everything starts in Bordeaux. The project was imagined here, co-created with local partners like Le Fémina and the gym Elevate. Jason Delalaire, DJ and artistic director of the event, chose his city to launch this concept he has envisioned.
