A renovation designed for tomorrow
Closed since November, the museum has embarked on a large-scale rehabilitation program aimed at improving accessibility, energy efficiency, and visitor comfort.
Modernized fire safety systems, new welcome features for people with reduced mobility, LED lighting, and optimized climate control: the site has undergone a complete upgrade, in line with the ecological and cultural ambitions of the City of Bordeaux. During the renovation, the museum continued its mission beyond its walls through urban walks, lectures, screenings, and school interventions.
