A 100% Banksy Exhibition in Bacalan Bordeaux
It's finally happening... A Banksy exhibition is coming to Bordeaux at the Cité Bleue - a cultural and community hub in the Bacalan neighborhood - from May 3 to 18. This exciting news was revealed by Actu Bordeaux.
According to our colleagues, Mayor Pierre Hurmic announced it during his press wishes. The free event will be hosted by François Bérardino, also known as Béru, who met the street art master in person in London in 2007. "Since then, he has collected about 250 pieces related to the artist. He decided to exhibit them, free of charge – in line with the ideals promoted by the artist" reveals Actu Bordeaux.

The exhibition, previously held in Libourne in 2023, was a huge success! It featured posters, original screen prints, record covers, and even the fire extinguisher that the iconic British artist used to paint the humanitarian lifeboat "Louise Michell".
Visitors often faced several hours of waiting in line to discover the unique collection of an inspiring and inspired fan.
