Walky Bar Bordeaux: The delightful surprise of Cours de l'Yser
Opened last December 31st, the Walky Bar is a project led by 3 friends. Right in the middle of Cours de l'Yser, this cozy local bar has become the locals' go-to spot for eating and drinking in a friendly atmosphere, with a touch of hip-hop infused by the owners (one of them is a private breakdancer).
And as soon as the weekend hour strikes, the Walky Bar turns into a dancing playground, with a younger clientele looking for a good time. The diverse playlists blast through the speakers in a lively atmosphere, amidst a chic and vintage decor.

An intergenerational funky programming
With the heart of bringing all generations together, the bar focuses on a programming for all tastes and all ages: comedy club once a month (the first of many will take place on September 27), live concerts, DJ sets every weekend and broadcasting of sports matches.

Come and visit Walky Bar in Bordeaux! Open from Tuesday to Saturday evenings, Walky Bar offers a menu of simple yet delicious food, highlighted by finger food to share (shrimp, chicken, mozzarella sticks, guacamole, sausage) and velvety burgers, smashed or chicken versions (the burger + fries combo is only 10€!). Their homemade fries, butcher's meat, smoked cheddar, brioche buns, and crispy chicken rice tenders are all made with high-quality ingredients. The menu may seem classic, but it's all about quality here.

The pint at the price of half during Happy Hour
When it comes to drinks, a pint of beer is a reasonable 6€, and the same price as a half during the Happy Hour from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. There are 4 draft beers available, along with cocktails ranging from 6€ to 10€ (including the long island). Currently open from Tuesday to Saturday (until 2am on Thursday evenings), Walky Bar has a large terrace with 20 seats. Due to its success, they are considering opening for lunch soon with a student offer aimed at young people looking for a quick meal.

Live from the Rugby World Cup
The bar couldn't miss out on the global competition. Of course, it's joining the bars that are broadcasting the Rugby World Cup. After a hard day's work, head over to Walky Bar and its electric atmosphere that will take you straight to the action on a terrace dedicated to the French team. For the occasion, they've gone all out: double terrace, outdoor TVs, giant screen inside, and the happy hour is still on! And to enhance the conviviality, they've swapped their bistro tables for large folding tables to share. Just like rugby clubs!
